Profile - Lee Connolly, MRIAI

Experience

Lee is an architect with over 20 years experience in the construction industry and is a member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland.  He has a particular interest in fire safety as a sub-specialty.

 

He has been involved in the fire safety of various complex buildings including the GAA National Handball Centre and Croke Park Stadium, in addition to other complex buildings including whiskey distilleries.  In addition, Lee advises a number of PLC’s, their legal advisers, and other legal practices on regulatory alignment for both new and existing buildings.

 

He is also responsible for drainage design within the office including adherence to the SuDS criteria.  His experience extends to designing, planning, and implementing a flood strategies in conjunction with the GAA and Dublin City Council.

 

Lee also has a specialty in licensing of pubs and other licensed premises and works for various hospitality clients as consultant.

 

Lee was made a director in June 2011.
